Long Paws worries – will his new family always want him? He loves his new home away from the racing track but will he stay here always? Victoria and Michael surprise Long Paws with a special “Forever Collar” so he truly knows: he is home forever.

At the park Long Paws watches other dogs playing with balls and toys, but he doesn’t know what to do – he was never taught to play! With Victoria and her friend Lily’s help, Long Paws learns that fun isn’t just for puppies.

Lily, Victoria’s friend, loses her favourite teddy bear in the park. With his keen sense of sight and smell, Long Paws is determined to track it down and proves that rescued greyhounds have their own special skills, not just being fast!

One day, while on a walk, Long Paws meets Grizzle, an old stray dog with scruffy grey fur. Grizzle is wary at first, but Long Paws' kindness wins him over. The two form a strong bond, and Victoria and Michael begin looking for ways to help Grizzle too.

Fireworks, loud cars, and vacuum cleaners – so many new noises! Long Paws, who is used to the sounds of the kennels and the racetrack, helps Grizzle stay calm when loud noises scare him. Together, they show that facing fears is easier with a friend.

A neighbour needs help, and Long Paws and Grizzle step in to save the day! Whether it’s guiding someone home, alerting Michael to a problem, or using his speed to fetch help, Long Paws proves that greyhounds aren’t just fast – they’re heroes too.

Long Paws has never seen snow before, and at first, he’s unsure about the cold, fluffy stuff covering the ground. But when Grizzle shows him how much fun it can be, they have the best winter day ever!

Long Paws visits the vet for a check-up and discovers that with gentle hands, tasty treats, and a little bravery, even the vet's office can be a safe place.
